Designed and handcrafted in Norfolk, UK, the small keyhole board is adept at making for an attractive display as it is being your perfect serving and chopping companion. The smaller size of this board make it ideal for cutting lemons and limes or herbs for your everyday cooking needs.
The board is cut from an individual piece of sustainably sourced local brown oak and is finished with a food safe oil for added strength and protection. All knots and blemished are sealed with organic beeswax.
Due to the unique nature of the materials each of our items is one-of-a-kind, we embrace the natural flaws in each piece.
Our boards are designed for longevity and surprisingly easy to look after. To keep your board looking vibrant we advise the following:
- Do not wash your board in the dishwasher
- During washing, do not soak the board in water as this will cause warping or cracking
- To clean your board simply wipe using water or alcohol wipes
- Always dry off, and from time to time rub the piece lightly with food safe oil for protection - we use organic flax seed oil mixed with beeswax
- Do not store or dry your board near to a heat source
- If you notice small marks appear caused from water or food, not to worry this is likely to happen.
- To return its original sheen, lightly sand in circular motions with a touch of oil and small piece of 600/1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper.
