The Elm Serving Board is adept at making for an attractive display as it is being your perfect serving utensil. This particular elm , sourced in south Norfolk, was milled many decades ago and left to air dry over the years bringing out the character in the grain but also showing signs of old worm holes. The surface has been planed and polished with contrasting worm holes dotted over the surface making an interesting texture. It has been oiled and waxed using flax oil and beeswax to add a food safe finish and strengthen and protect the wood.
