The Small Spalted Alder Bowl is hand turned using sustainable locally sourced spalted alder from Norfolk countryside. The shallow bowl is handcrafted using offcuts from our boards as we design out the 'waste' from our larger pieces. This process is consistent throughout all of our designs to minimise waste as we breakdown the smallest of pieces to produce protection in our packaging and compost our shavings and sawdust.
Handcrafted in our Norfolk workshop and finished using a natural food safe mixture of organic beeswax, flax oil and extra virgin coconut oil which will protect the wood whilst reinvigerating and bringing out the patternation of the grain.
